Bring Her Back

Micron on Bristol Approx. 10 x 8 ft

Created for my Expressive Drawing class at SJSU. Originally beginning as a piece dedicated to how my angels are always protecting me because of countless close call circumstances in my life but developed into a tribute to my late cat, Frieren (the smaller one). Encompassing my pain and how much I wish she could’ve recovered from her illness and be brought back to Earth. I miss her everyday and pray that she can be reincarnated into a healthier life.

My Sanctumeowy

acrylic on bristol paper 19 x 24 in

Created for my Intro to Painting class at Diablo Valley Community College. Inspired by the landscape paintings of the Song Dynasty, with my own twist. My Sanctumeowy is my imagined safe space landscape. Fully stippled with a rounded brush.

Hidden

Micron on Saunders Approx 20 x 36

Created for my Expressive Drawing class at SJSU. The prompt was to reimagine a plant into a creature — I chose the twisting “money plant” my mom had gifted me when moving out to my first apartment. The dragon connecting to her Lunar Zodiac sign. I wanted to test my patience by using stippling throughout, all done with two .5 Microns

A Cat with a Woman
